En medio de la guerra en Irán, las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) afirman que, en las últimas dos semanas, han destruido cinco kilómetros (tres millas) de túneles de Hamás en la Franja de Gaza.
Uno de los túneles estaba situado en la zona oriental de Rafah, donde decenas de combatientes de Hamás se habían atrincherado durante el alto el fuego. Otro túnel estaba situado en Jan Yunis, en el sur de Gaza, según el ejército.
